The Pretto’s Pasta Lasagna Story
After emigrating from Italy, in 1966 Rose and Fred began producing Pretto’s Pasta – a line of frozen pasta made from traditional recipes, specialized equipment, and quality ingredients. The Pretto’s claim their pasta to be the first to introduce real Italian style to Canadian consumers.
Today at Prettos' Pasta, they continue this tradition – making high quality lasagna, including classic Bolognese, Queen of All, Wild Mushroom, and Butter Chicken with extra thin layers of pasta made with fresh eggs and unbleached flour. They use locally sourced “real” ingredients – whole milk, butter, cream, meat, vegetables, crushed tomatoes, herbs and spices. You will find no colouring or preservatives in Pretto's lasagnas.
The result is outstanding! Flavourful entrees that will satisfy the taste buds of your most discerning family members.
